Kurt Cobain, RIP. Dead at only 27 in April 1994.
It's the 15th anniversary, and like every year this time, I do something artistic in his memory.

Oh God.
This is... creepy.
Not your art, I mean - that's wonderful but it IS eerie somehow. I think it has to do with the cat and his expression toward it. But in a good way.

The creepy thing is that there's been a lot today and yesterday that reminded me of him - I've heard Nirvana now more than in the past month, and I dreamed... something. Something. A dream about Kurt and his blonde hair, I don't remember... Gah, frustrating. And... a few other things.

But I didn't know that was today. Jeez. I should know that, huh?

I fell in LOVE with that photo. I was just browsing for anything to do but the second I saw that one I knew it had to be the one. It was just a random pose, with a kitty of all things. :eager:

Ooooooo. I love it. It has a glowing, almost luminescent quality that makes him look all angel-y. I watched one of my Nirvana dvd's yesterday and was thinking how young he looked in certain video clips. This reminds me of that. Which makes sense, since this photo shoot was around Bleach times, so he was young.
Very nice, dude.
I dig it.
The only critique I could force myself to make is...it kind of seems like the cat is floating, and perhaps was born without hind legs. Lol. But I suspect Kurt would have loved a flying legless cat. So...coool.
